Job Title: CHIPRA Outreach and Enrollment Project Coordinator
Job Description:
The Association for Utah Community Health is currently seeking a highly organized Outreach and Enrollment Coordinator (OEC). They will be responsible for the implementation of the AUCH “Health Center Outreach and Enrollment Project” funded through a grant under the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA). The underlying focus of the OEC is to conduct targeted outreach to uninsured health center patients, supervise project enrollment specialists, and assist in the overall implementation of project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Implement program plans and grant expectation as indicated in relevant work plans.
- Manage, implement and evaluate the components of the AUCH CHIRPRA Outreach and Enrollment Project, including: implementation of outreach plan, supervision of enrollment specialists, trainging of health center and project staff, assistance with scheduling, patient education, case management, charting, and data collection.
- Convene and facilitate weekly/monthly meetings with project staff.
- Establish and facilitate collaborative relationships with appropriate individuals/entities and AUCH members.
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and other reporting requirements.
-Adhere to AUCH policies and procedures and those of the Project partners.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required. Graduate level education preferred. Emphasis in health sciences or related field.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Prior leadership, supervisory, and managerial decision-making.
- Prior experience in data collection and analysis.
- Capacity for imaginative and energetic project development/implementation.
- Prior Experience working in a medical setting, with deomnstrated success in working with mediacl providers.
- Prior experience with community-based organizations.
- Basic understanding of the health care industry and available public programs.
- Flexibility to respond to a variety of requests/needs/issues simultaneously.
- Freedom to travel within and outside the state as necessary.
Reports to: Project Director
Hours: Full-time, Exempt
Salary: $38,000 - $42,000

Job Title: Extension Family & Consumer Science Educator [Posted October 22, 2009]
Job Description: Part-time educator in Salt Lake County Extension Office working with Family and Consumer Science Agents to carry out programming.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, advertise and conduct financial management workshops, help plan and conduct youth finance and entrepreneurship day camps, work with Utah Saves program, Gain coalition, and work with community agencies in advertising and teaching classes to their clientele.
2. Assist with Homebuyer Education classes - teaching, managing online homebuyer ed course as well as work on revisions as needed.
3. Prepare and teach Family relations, marriage enhancement and other programs as needed.
Minimun Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or four years of related experience.
2. Need access to transportation
3. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Coursework and or background in Family and Consumers Science Education-Personal finance education, housing education, youth leadership, family relations, marriage education
