Department of Family and Consumer Studies - The Family and Consumer Studies (FCS) Department at the University of Utah operates and maintains the Child and Family Development Center. Family and Consumer Studies (FCS) is an interdisciplinary department where faculty and students examine how the social, economic, political and physical environments affect families, individuals, and consumers. The teaching, research, and service done in the Department focuses on expanding our understanding of how the welfare of individuals, and the families in which they live, are affected by external forces and internal forces.

University of Utah - The University of Utah offers majors in 72 subjects at the undergraduate level, along with more than 50 teaching majors and minors, and over 90 major fields of study at the graduate level.

Early Childhood Teacher Licensure Program - The Early Childhood Teacher Licensure Program is a collaborative effort between the Departments of Family & Consumer Studies and Teaching & Learning. Successful completion of the program leads to recommendation for K-3 certification. Feel free to check out more information.

Child Care Coordinating Office - The University of Utah Child Care Office is here to assist University faculty, staff, and students in their search for quality child care services. We recognize that child care is one of the most important decisions that you will make for your child and for your family.
