Applying for Admissions
There are separate required application forms for the Family Ecology masters and the University of Utah Graduate School.
Applying to the Family Ecology Program:
March 1st is the 1st deadline for Fall Semester (Note Feb. 1st grad school deadline below) A second deadline of June 1st exists, but may not entail as many financial support awards. We do not currently accept student for admission in Spring or Summer semester.
Applying to the U. of U. Graduate School admissions:

a 3.0 Grade Point Average, accredited bachelor's degree, and positive
departmental recommendation. Send undergraduate transcripts, admissions
fee, and application to the Admissions Office (250 SSB, U. of U., SLC,
UT 84112).

Students may also fill out the application on-line. Please be aware that
the Graduate School requires your transcripts, application, and fee to
be received 30 days before the FCS Departmental deadline.
For FCS Department admissions, please submit:
| 1. | three letters of recommendation (letters from professors preferred) reference form |
| 2. | A

| 3. | a 500 word student statement of career goals and interest in the program |
| 4. | GRE test scores (specifying Social Sciences will help direct the scores to the FCS Department) |
| 5. | for international students, minimum TOEFFL scores of 500 are required. Some students may be required to complete writing classes from the English Department as well. |
